You may consider lying on the couch with a magazine, playing a game on your smartphone, and making a grocery list "downtime," but your brain doesn't. "The mind-brain is like a muscle", "It needs to stop working sometimes to replenish and rebuild itself." Tonight, spend a nice chunk of time simply resting—no planning, accomplishing, or thinking of things left undone.
