Vê-se benzito

Apanhei-o ontem à noite no TVC4 ...e vi-o. Não tinha lido o livro todo (fiquei em Roma) mas tinha curiosidade de saber o enredo, já que a história em si já era conhecida: a woman's quest to find herself (nada de novo) - afinal é importante perceber que a melhor relação que se pode ter é consigo própria, bem dizia a Diane aqui.

 O caminho da Elizabeth Gilbert foi este, quote "A force in nature governed by laws as real as the laws of gravity. The rule of Quest Physics goes something like this: If you're brave enough to leave behind everything familiar and comforting, which can be anything from your house to bitter, old resentments, and set out on a truth-seeking journey, either externally or internally, and if you are truly willing to regard everything that happens to you on that journey as a clue and if you accept everyone you meet along the way as a teacher and if you are prepared, most of all, to face and forgive some very difficult realities about yourself, then the truth will not be withheld from you."

Gosto de histórias verídicas e sobre esta fascina-me a coragem dela em partir. Não me parece que seja preciso tirar um ano sabático para este efeito, nem mesmo ir a lado nenhum, mas como sou uma curiosa e estas coisas interessam-me (sem fanatismos), um dia meto-me numa viagem. Na União Budista Portuguesa, onde fiz alguns cursos de meditação, há viagens organizadas ao Tibete e à India (são só algumas semanas), um dia gostava de ir ... afinal:
